    // ABOUT ME
    My name is Etienne Crete (from Montreal, Canada). I'm a swing Forex trader and help aspiring Forex traders develop a trading method that works for them so they can produce income allowing them to live with more freedom.
    I blog at www.desiretotrade.com and host the Desire To Trade Podcast. I was fed up with the “fake” millionaire traders and the “get-rich-quick-trading guys”. That's why you can expect more free content from me than what other people charge for!
    If you truly want to succeed in Forex trading, I believe you need to keep working on yourself so you can improve your strengths, but also your weaknesses. Do not focus solely on what you're good at.
    // Disclaimer
    This video expresses my personal opinion only. Forex trading is risky. Make sure you are ready to trade. Even this will not guarantee you positive results. I am not responsible for any losses incurred due to your trading or anything else. I do not recommend any specific trade or action.

    I’m gonna save everyone the time of what actually the 3 big mistakes are for all traders not just beginners:
    1- Money management , the most important , if you don’t have this one right you ll never be successful.
    2- Trading with emotions. Deviating from your system instead Of letting it do what it’s supposed to do.
    3-Not knowing when to enter or exit a trade.

    Increasing the risk on trades where full due diligence was not applied -pushes the account down so that many more trades required to return to profit -stick to your risk/plan -Full Stop!

    Trade small size... Use 4 hour and daily charts only... That has kept me constantly profitable for years... Go for getting rich slow... 5 to 10 % a month will put you in the elite top traders

    I think it is understandable for beginners to try different strategies (you wrote as #2 mistake). They are called beginners for a reason. They don't have a working system yet. So to be able to find that system that works for them, they have to try different strategies.

    Mistake #1 i make quite frequently actually I think it's a mistake for the inexperienced associated with not being able to read when the momentum of a trade is at its beginning or highest and not fizzling out ( at least with me and forex) and then kinda assuming that the reason why the strategy has stops quite far away ( at least to my newbie thinking, such as, 3 x ATR & etc) it means one should or could wait for things to bounce back. It's hard to know when you've entered a trade with a good strategy at a bad time and cut out early

    Etienne, can I ask a question about your trading routine?? Do you have a block of hours each day when you look for new trades? If so, is it the same time each day relative to the markets? If so, how many hours and do you have a cutoff time in place when you stop trading? Thanks!!

    That's the difference between you and the 5 percent ! The 5 percent would invest a tiny amount and leave it there till it goes right to the top , the risk involved to reward out weighs the time, that's why you probably not a very succeful trader, (bitcoin)
