I can't believe I'm actually doing VLOGMAS! I have been feeling so inspired to film and create content for all my subbs and I thought vlogs throughout this month would be super fun. Today I take along a simple, but eventful day in my life. From decorating our home for Christmas, homework with my little love, and girl chat in my bathroom. Let me know if you guys enjoyed it! xx, Dulce

I’m 24 and I feel completely lost, I have no goals, I don’t have my shit together. I experienced Anxiety around July and it is the worst feeling ever but I still try to be positive even though for the most part anxiety takes over me. Ever since I was small, I was afraid to do things or I was easily embarrassed and over thought things so I believe that I grew up not believing in myself or able to take on things and eventually now as an adult I experienced getting anxiety 😪😢 thank you for the talk you just did towards the end of the video, J appreciate it ❤️

I love when you talk about your personal growth journey. I feel that there are very many women/girls that may be feeling lost or like there is something wrong with them and I feel that your messages always get through very well. When I listen to you express your thoughts I feel a sense of relief that finally someone understands me. I feel like the process of growing as a person is draining, stressful, confusing and it’s something that you can’t just talk about freely with just anyone because some people will not understand and judge.

I also want to grow and evolve to be a better version of myself as I get older. You mentioned you read a lot to help you evolve. Which books were they? I am currently in my 25 and you really resonated with me about missing out in the previous years since my family dynamic was not perfect, so until now I am still teaching myself and learning things along the way even though I feel I should be an expert on "adult" things already.

Thank you for talking about finding your voice. As a brown woman, culture is a big contributing factor on how woman are supposed to behave, talk, be subordinate to men and the family. An example for me was, go clean the rooms, this would include cleaning my brother’s room. Their was time I would “try” to speak up, but man my mom would come down hard on me and shut me down quick. So growing up as a girl in a brown family was very hard.

I connect with you so much dulce l. I've always felt we were similar just by looking at you years ago. We're the same age but I'm still stuck with the insecurity. I grew up with my parents (who grew up in Mexico with either absent or mean parents) and so they weren't the best parents themselves. Idk why but ever since I was little I always felt less than everyone. I always felt so insecure about everything and still do sometimes even if I can hide it a bit. I was self conscious about my clothes becausewe were poor. It didn't help that my mom never gave me useful advice or cheered me on in any way and I was the type of kid that needed it so badly. Although I didn't know it at the time. I was just confused all the time. I remember middle school was rough. I even had to wear skirts because my parents were apostolic Christians. I remember thinking if I could at least wear shorts and jeans I can somewhat fit in. So ppl always asked or stared. I was the girl who always wore skirts. I don't have an interesting face or voice so ppl get bored of me easily. That has always been hard, knowing im the least interesting in the room. My parents never taught me anything about life. Not once did they ask me how school went, if I had any problems with anyone, how other kids treated m or anything of that sort. They never went to school events or took us out anywhere. Maybe a park here or there but that was it. Everything was mostly church and what we couldn't do. Ugh just talking about it is so hard cause I think of myself as that little insecure girl. I had my older sister who would sometimes help me so I Thank God I at least had her until I was 13 (before she moved away) My dad wasn't really there either. Although he was physically there. I guess when there's problems in the marriage you can't give your best to your children. My mom and me aren't super close because I can't tell her everything since she's so religious so everything is bad in her eyes. I sometimes ignore her calls because I find myself not wanting to talk. We never had that kind of relationship so one day I straight up told her why because she kept throwing it in my face that I never answer the phone. When I told her why I was most likely that way She just kept saying yeah you're right. I wish I would've done more with you guys. She felt regret. It's just too late now. Idk why I'm rambling lol but to anyone who is reading this.... If you have children or are planning to please be there for them. Take interest in who they are and what they're dealing with. They need you. Growing up is hard. It is what shapes you into who you will be.

This was my life exactly!!! It haunts us into adult hood and now its our job to reparent ourselves. Which is harder bc our subconscious mind is already programmed. Hopefully we become better parents to our children so that we can end the generational trauma and give them a better childhood and better future.

I know that feeling all to well unfortunately. I was actually around 10-13 years old when I did not like being Mexican because I was so different. I went to a all white school and it was really difficult. I also had a teacher tell me I couldn’t speak Spanish since I was in United States, it was so crushing and hurtful. To this day it makes me angry and I wish I could tell 9 year old me, to not listen and my culture is beautiful.

I used to be VERY self-conscious. I had similar experiences with going into the “nice” stores (and I’m white as a ghost) because I was raised on a strict budget and was always told those things weren’t for me. I got over it when I realized that I’m not the center of the universe and most people don’t really give a shit about what I’m doing. If someone has a comment or they want to tear you down, they’re probably in that self-conscious space. They have lessons to learn that have nothing to do with me, so I shouldn’t give it attention.
