Top 10 Biggest Movie Flops of 2019 (So Far)

  • Published on Aug 15, 2019
  • These are the biggest movie flops of 2019... so far. 2019 saw “Avengers: Endgame” replace “Avatar” as the biggest film in box office history. Sadly… not every film can be a success. From critically-adored movies that stalled, like The Kid Who Would Be King and Missing Link, to all-out failures like Replicas, Hellboy, and Serenity, these movies proved that not even Keanu Reeves is safe from a box office bomb. Were there any box office flops that you loved this year? Let us know in the comments!

hellboy bombed because they didnt recast ron Pearlman and del toro to head the project im sorry I like david harbor but Pearlman IS hellboy period casting someone else in the roll is the only way to make it totally fail.

Hellboy deserved better, who were the dumbasses to decide to release it between shazam and endgame. Shaft deserved better too. But audience only seem to care about being over saturated but medicore mindless action blockbusters like endgame

personally the second i heard that milla jovovich was cast in Hellboy i lost all interest, its not that she is a bad actor (she is ok ish) but it's just something about the films she is in always have crap scripts even if the ideas behind said scrip are cool.

I also felt bad about the TOLKIEN movie. I waited for its release, but it was never shown in the Philippines and it frustrated me. Cinemas in our country have no class, they show some crappy Hollywood/foreign films instead.

Agree with most movies but NOT your reasons. You obviously a wahmen, so you will not say they failed because they MAN BASHED. You just had to play that last part with Jennifer Lawrence. Want to know why it failed, right there is one of the reasons.

the reason movies are flopping is because for years Hollywood has focused on CGI and special effects and no bothered with good stories , they use to connect with viewers hearts and imaginations and seen to be obsessed with their wow factor but effects are becoming so normal now its no longer appealing ,

You couldn't stop your inner PC from shitting on shaft ha? Its funny how you failed to mention its great audience score. Am not saying its had much of a plot, but it was actually funny ,watchable and had a great message for every snobbishly "woke" millennial.
