How is there such a diversity of nationalities in USA and americans are still inbred enough to elect Trump? Is there some law that makes it illegal to fuck anyone but your own siblings? That would explain the appalling abundance of incest porn on Pornhub

@Stephen2462 The point is that the US allows legal migration. We granted over 9 million visas last year. That's almost 25K visas per day. Last year alone, 750k people were granted citizenship. That's the population of Seattle. So what's the problem?

    • BenJamin Croft
      BenJamin Croft 5 days ago

@Stephen2462 If you're still referring to the wall then let me remind you yet again; what people neglect to mention is that the actual budget of the wall is estimated between $25 billion to $30 billion. *Only about 0.0075% of the $4 trillion annual federal budget.* And the estimated running costs, for at least 10 years, is about $28 billion or $2.8 billion a year. *(0.0005% of the annual budget).*
But leftwing, SJW, Democratic Socialists like you don't want it because it will take funds away from things like your gun control budget, hate speech budget, abortion budget, free healthcare budget, free welfare budget, free college budget, free EVERYTHING budget, ect, ect.

    • Gary Wilson
      Gary Wilson 6 days ago

@BenJamin Croft you completely missed the point. The discussion centres around politicians using fear and drumming up xenophobia to get people to outright hate immigrants. Some have even taken this to killing people en masse just because they believe them to be outsiders. And no you are not understanding me correctly, you are diverting the argument with a straw man in order to appear like you have the moral high ground. At no point in my argument did I say i was for complete unregulated and open borders, that was your words.

    • BenJamin Croft
      BenJamin Croft 6 days ago

So if I'm understanding you correctly, you just want to allow anyone and everyone to just come right on in? • TheHastate
    TheHastate 8 days ago

I feel like mr. Oliver (and his team) are becoming more hypocritical at certain points. For example: the family/chain immigration. Saying it only works with close relatives and so no uncles or aunts is ridiculous, isn't it? Because if you can sponsor your parents by close relation, then they can sponsor their siblings, and via this "chain" 1 person can enable his entire family to get through? Or is there something that mr. Oliver didn't mention about regulations?

And if we do not talk about the accuracy of mr. Trump's statements, but about the morality of immigration instead, then what would we say? I mean, I understand that if you get in through work, you want and should be able to have your family near you. But why should siblings or parents be allowed to legally become citizen of a country and receive the benefits that that society has created for itself, just because 1 person has found a job? I find it hard to find rational or moral justification for this.

And I'm anti-Trump, and think that the concept of nationality is something that holds back humans as a species and the world as a whole.

Hold on just a god damn minute. For the law to limit the number of green cards to less than 7% for any one country would, logically, require them to have a predetermined limit on the total number of green cards that are going to be given out each year. That right there is a fairly telling aspect of the system in and of itself.
