    We have the same thing in Dutch: there is a part where it goes "Mama se mama sa mama appelsap". This has become a thing, in that the concept of mishearing something Dutch in a song that clearly isn't Dutch, is now called a "mama appelsap".

    This is so funny, I’m from France, my mom and my dad are angolese but have a congolese culture. My mom told me that when she was young many people also thought that MJ was singing this part of the song in lingala, which is one of the language of Congo.

In Djibouti we thought exactly the same way, that he sang in Somali : We thought he said like in Somali "Ka bahso geerida" which means "Run from the death" when he was actually saying "Don't stop till you get enough".
