every time i see stephen galloway, i wonder how a man so viscerally despised by viewers can still be in nearly every single one of these roundtables

Oh please F.Akin! You can do better than that! Be brave and tell the truth! Don't twist the truth for the sake of popularity! You know deep inside that one day time will prove you wrong!

Am I dense motherfucker for not knowing what Arronofsky and Erin mean at 41:35 about having ethical issues with being a Muslim in the entertainment business?

I like how humble and supportive Sorkin is. Maybe the most accomplished writer in movie making and he's all ears.

ive considered the possibility that no one who has the power to bring in a new interviewer has seen any of the comments on this accounts’ videos. literally has only one meaning-and literally every comment section of this interviewer’s interviews is riddled with negative opinions, of his work. hes been thoroughly analyzed, at this point-from thousands of POVs. if the producers of this program were made aware of these things, what do you think would happen? im just trying to see how viewers honestly feel about this. personally, i keep watching because although frustrating, i dont know of a better way to get what this program provides.. but i know that my viewership may enforce the idea that i enjoy this interviewer-which could not be further from the truth.

81 % of the us-internet users are watching a second screen (handy or laptop) while watching a movie? Strange.
    Anyway, really great roundtable here!

That was such a good episode. The follow the fun thing, among so many other things mentioned, is so true. It’s the same with any art form, if it starts to not be fun then you aren’t doing it right. Your being too cautious with it.

interviewer seems pretty far up his own ass, like his little moment of power is to cut a hollywood big-hitter off mid sentence. Ass-hat.

In all of these Hollywood round tables all people at some point say,
"I think we have all agree that... we have all lived something like this,... I don't think anyone here would disagree that... I imagine most of us have... I agree with [name] about how... like [neme] said I also.... my story is similar to most here... i would imagine you all have had similar experiences like... well, like everyone here I have also... etc etc"
it is a shitty trick to involve everyone into your bullshit so they give you some support even though the question is FOR YOU, they are asking You what you think or feel or how this or that happened.... if they think we are that stupid that we don't notice...

So this therapist’s view of “everyone doing their best.”
I work with therapists and they say this. I don’t understand. Maybe that mentality is supposed to help them have compassion on them ?
I have a difficult time believing everyone is always doing their best.

Cracks me up when people complain about the moderator/Stephen. It would be 12 hours long if he didn't cut people off /steer the conversation (And no they can't edit it down because I'm guessing they're limited in time for the actual shoot). He's knowledgable about who is interviewing, the history of film, the business, and he gets good answers out of people. I think it's like one of those things, where online people have this disconnect with reality. I get it, you want to hear your favourite writer talk for ages, but this isn't that platform. I can see the frustration, but it's a bit like when people complain that every little scene from a book doesn't make it to the movie. There's a bigger picture.

These shallow, virtue signalling, SJW creatures want to write pieces that draw conversations and make statements. Who gives a fuck. ? Whatever happened to a good story for entertainment sakes. It's sickening what has happened lately to mainstream film. And it shows. People are rejecting this infantile blubbering gibberish from a bunch of spoiled Me Too's.

This talk is why I do not feel comfortable giving these people my dollars. Just because Harvey types exist in every industry does not make it ok. Even if he is one of a kind. So the only card I can play with my small voice is to keep my dollars in my pocket when it comes to TV and film. Easily done as I adore books. You have a perfect platform. It is is too slimy to stand on.
