Slowing down metabolism is key to healing. We use this concept for heart attacks, spinal injuries ect... By lowering the patient's body temperature putting them in hypothermia its helps with reducing cellular death and therefore reducing negative effects.

Am I the only one who wishes that this woman could have been my mom during my teenage years? I feel like she would have totally understood my slothful ways, plus entertained me with her funniness and jokes.

We need to learn from sloths, she says and proceeds to make fun of their nature to please the crowd. Everyone laughs. News, not everyone is obsessed with speed, etc. Stop stereotyping humanity based on your screwed up culture and simplified view of the world. I like sloths for what they are and I will continue to be a human learning from better sources.

hahahahahahaha you are like an animal-loving comedian! Giving this speech was very important, it should be seen by everyone since these animals are either referred to mockinlgy or not even known (by many). The fact that we can learn from them makes them crucial to our environment, lives, and overall survival.
    Thank you! :)

Those "mouth farts"? Every time you hold in a fart and feel the need to let it out go away... yeah, that's the gases dissolving into your bloodstream, where they're carried to your lungs and breathed out. You're welcome! XD
