Given how many movies come out with the "Pixar/Dreamworks" look to their 3D characters, it's so refreshing to see what the team did with Spiderman.

I want to see a series where the animators go in detail on how all the technical aspects of this stuff worked. this is what made me love this movie. The insanely original and unique artstyle. Using new tech to create an artstyle that has not been able to be done before for a full length movie is one of my favorite parts. You know, just behind the story of the movie being amazing.

This movie means so much to me. The fact that Miles M. a city kid just like me with a Latina mom and black dad got featured in one of the most beautifully animated movies with the best soundtracks out there AND introduced other Spideys to the mainstream audiences?? I legit held back tears so many times during the movie.

i dont think it was visually pleasant at all, it was jarring and unnesseccary, read a comic book if you want to but dont ruin good stories with experimental indie animation

Watching this reminded me of another, painstakingly-animated, movie I watched; one that I want WIRED to conduct an interview for. That movie, is the mainly-hand-drawn masterpiece known as Redline.
If you don't know what that movie is, make plans to treat yourself.

Her Spider-senses drew her to Mile's school she but didn't know who would ultimately end up being Spider-Man. Even in that scene when we first see her, she still didn't know until she saw him standing on the wall of the dorm he was staying in (outside in public) which is how she found out Miles was Spider Man.
