    so the way it works is pretty simple. you take conservation of energy and combine it with conservation of momentum and you get a formula for the speeds of 2 balls after the collision given their speeds before the collision. when you have 1 ball hitting 2 balls you need to treat it like 2 seperate collisions, ball 1 hits ball 2 and then ball 2 hits ball 3. when two balls hit two balls it's like 4 seperate collisions etc.

    So I know how leaf gold reacts with mercury already but I've always heard that mixing mercy with aluminum has a better effect do you mind enlightening me to see the reaction and why it even has a section at all?
