Why wouldn't assume, blood suckers just find dark closes more secure for not being visually noticed and killed by their catch?

Hi love the videos. I've been watching Alec Steele a blacksmith who works with Damascus alot and he explains that he used ferric chloride to etch the damascus and because there are different ammounts of carbon in the layers one turns dark and the other one not so much, and I've been looking around google and RUclip for a video explaining this and I haven't been able to find one maybe you could be the first to make a video on it

Just take Boswelia. And lower sugar intake. Being on keto diet helps. And take extra vitamin b1, or eat liver regularly.

I've found that if I reduce my consumption of potassium-rich fruits like bananas and cantaloupe, I get bit a whole lot less. Used to be a serious mosquito magnet, too! It's weird, but it really seemed to help. Probably another one of those sweat-smell factor things.

I've heard that mosquitoes are not strong flyers, and therefore ceiling fans on your porch are enough to keep them at bay if you want to sit out on your rocking chair of an evening. Is this true?

this might be entirely anecdotal, but I remember when I lived in the swampy area outside of Houston a couple things we observed were that people who ate more fruit, especially bananas, tended to attract more mosquitos, but when those people started taking garlic pills, they became a less attractive meal. This might all be related to how they're attracted to sugar and repelled by certain smells. But it also might just be coincidental.

All adult mosquitoes feed on the nectar or honey dew of plants to get sugar, and that provides enough nourishment for both males and females to live, but females also need to produce eggs. To create eggs, females need protein, which they get from the blood of animals.

Dark colored surfaces are more attractive to a mosquito cuz they think it's water. Water looks dark when its deep. So my mum says that that's why mosquitoes hover over your head in the evening. I'm a brunette.

People in the alcohol test were drinking beer..... Did they try any other alcohols like wine or mixed drinks? How about people drinking straight shots?
If it was just beer then the reason appears very clear, at least to me. Beer and pop are carbonated. CO2 is a factor in finding subjects. Come on scientists.

The information page given out with dry ice purchases at the ice house mentions that dry ice (frozen compressed CO2), in addition to quick-freezing meats, carbonating beverages, and putting disco fog on dance floors, attracts and kills mosquitoes. Intense co2 as an attractant to the far end of the yard, extreme cold freezing them solid as they light on it. It also helps to pour a little Clorox into long-standing water puddles.

It is co2 and lactic acid mainly but it is not breathing it out and thus getting rid of it that attracts them but the holding it in hence it conning thru the skin pours as an alternative route that causes the temptation so any thing you can do to not become stagnant such as deep breathing sunshine water proper sleep and even happy thoughts will all work together to quall the tempting chemicals that will pool upon the skin albeit unseen by humans , if you become non active grouchy depressed or eat non nitrite food stuffs
