A lens you will love or hate. I love this lens, when used in moderation. It offers swirly bokeh and glow, and is a classic. Can be used on a Leica M, Leica SL, Sony A7 Series, Fuji. Olympus, ETC. ANY mirrorless with the correct adapter.

I bought one of these a couple years ago along with a 1940s Summitar f2 and Elmar f3.5 (each for under $250) as they were the only Leica lenses I could afford. I'm glad I got them a couple years ago since the prices have gone up quite a bit - especially for the Summarit. I instantly fell in love with that lens (and the Summitar) and thought people were crazy for not liking it. It's one of my favorite lenses - along with the Summitar and 1950s Voigtlander Nokton 1.5 - I also have the old Contax Zeiss Sonnar 1.5, but I don't use it as much for some reason.

WOW.... That swirl is crazy. But, the bubble bokeh is bubbly.

    I have a 1978 Minolta 50mmf1.4 that's very similar, but way cheaper
