Hi Suzie I would really like to know if you could use another powder instead of acrylic because I am only doing gel nails right now

Why do you cure it for only 30 seconds? It doesn’t smudge or anything? (I don’t know if you’re using LED or UV I have an LED at my shop)

Suzie, your voice is so soothing! I don't wear any kind of artificial nails - I prefer powder dip for clinical rotations and regular polish for nail art during school breaks - but I enjoy your tutorials, and when I'm having trouble sleeping, I pick a long video and lay my phone nearby and I'm asleep in no time!

Hei. I just did a video about this and figured that actually if you flash cure the gel before and then sprinkle with acrylic it looks even better ad the inhibition layer will still soak in the powder and keep it matt. Check it out for details 😊

I respect the detail and artistry because my god that takes a lot. But these nails make me uneasy for some reason? ha like my brain can't register a texture typically on clothing transferred on a nail. so weird haha, love your work suzie

Could you use acrylic t make it a bit more 3D and then paint jell polish over it? Or would you suggest finding a powder the same color to do a 3D style?

I just have to say that watching you has been therapy for me. I broke my arm, the humerous, a year ago and had to have a rod inserted. It has been slow healing and incredibly painful. Then I came across your tutorials, and as a self taught nail artist, I gave it up for a couple of years, I decided to try it again. You've given me the confidence to try the new nail designs and it helps with therapy. My motor skills have improved and the real healing has begun. Thank you for showing me how to be easier with myself and have fun learning the new and remembering the old.

You and your camera man are always so adorable together...........dating? ;) Other times I've seen this design done with gel, the nail artist used more than one layer of gel polish - and I don't recall them using acrylic powder. Love seeing new and different techniques
