  • Published on Feb 14, 2019
  • One year ago today, 14 students and 3 staff members were killed in a mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. One of those students was Joaquin Oliver. We need action. Americans have a subborn belief about everything in their constitution written by people who lived in completely different times hundreds of years ago.
When that amendment was added, there was no machines guns, no rifles and non-whites were not even considered humans.
All has changed. If Amercia can abolish slavery and open her arms to people of all ethnicities, which are themselves changes those writers of our constitution would vehemently oppose, I see nothing wrong with adapting our gun policies to suit our time.

@Adam how about a start by getting the guns out of the hands of people making threats or have a history of violence. I think we'd see results much quicker with that.

    • Juan
      Juan 4 months ago +1

@Adam Yes, just infringing upon it, which is AGAINST the Constitution, for a good reason.
