Every X-Men movie before X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019): A gritty, non-Disney-funded adventure that evolves its characters, produces a good plot and story, and doesn’t do certain crap just to extend its runtime.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix (2019): A crappy, Disney-funded movie that kills off beloved characters for literally no reason (cough, Mystique, cough), the character practically have no character growth, they do unnecessary crap just to manipulate the runtime, and the only reason its not a complete and total commercial failure is because of Michael Fassbender as Magneto.
This is a huge waste of Jennifer Lawrence’s talent. Also, J-Law, if you’re reading this, congratulations on the wedding!

Phoenix is worried about hurting cyclops again, but as far as I’m concerned, the OTHER Phoenix (pre DOFP Phoenix) disintegrated cyclops way later in the original timeline than when this movie takes place, and she shouldn’t know that her original self killed cyclops because of what Kitty said in Days of Future Past. The director is so oblivious.

They say more accurate to comics i say BS. There was NO Encron crystal, NO Shearr empire, NO Phoenix costume esp sash or colors, NO wedding for her and scott, NO Scott father, and it lacked and was mediocre movie. I know i spelled things wrong btw. 1 out of 10 i give it a 5. Originals were better, even first class was better but ill still get it on blu ray for collection.
