I love this film with all my heart. Anyone putting it in the same bracket as Dirty Dancing needs to get dragged off to Hell by crackling shadow demons.

Wtf is so wrong with 90’s movies that every millennial feels the need to insult everything we love. Over it!!! Millennials rude as fuck as usual. No surprise there👎👎👎👎👎👎

Ghost feels more like an 80s movie to me.
    It came out in 1990.
Ghost looks like it could have been made in 1985.

You forgot to mention that Willie, Carl's partner in crime got hit by a car when he was trying to run from Sam. After Willie is killed those demons took him to Hell. Oh and it was Carl who died a glassy death.

“Subway Ghost” was my favorite character. (Played by the VERY talented, legendary character actor, Vincent Schiavelli. He scared the SHIT out of me as a kid.)
I love that scene where he teaches Sam how to break through the spiritual plane or whatever and interact with the the real world, by escalating all emotions and (figuratively speaking) EXPLODE, breaking through to the world of the living.
I would’ve loved for him to have more screen time and learn a little more about his about his backstory. He seemed like such a tortured, angry, lonely soul. Seeing him sitting next to passengers reading their newspapers, made me feel bad for him.
He looked that way (disproportionately long limbs, face skeletal structure, etc) because he suffered from Marfan syndrome. He died at age 57. 🙁 May he Rest In Peace, along with Patrick.

No Swayze means no Red Dawn? I’d would recommend a Swayze month. Dirty Dancing, Red Dawn, Roadhouse & Point Break. Those are all great movies that will make you absolutely adore Patrick Swayze.

you should have a Demi Moore Month , she has good quality movies
blame it on rio, st elmos fire, about last night,
then you have her in comedies Like the butchers wife ,
then she is in a Military film called a few good men, which is generally interesting
then you have her in dramas like indecent proposal and disclosure , which are pretty interesting, though she probably could have played the same type of character as a good person rather than in one film a good person, and in the other film a bad person
then of course she was in films like now and then and scarlett letter, now and then is more of a Family drama , while the scarlett letter is more of a period drama, the juror is interesting too but doesn't meet the same standard as a few good men

then of course, the most ridiculously funny film of 1996 that actually does things right morally ,far better than the Over the top, rather at times uncomfortable movie, showgirls, it is Striptease,
striptease is a moore film that has a Mixed bag of issues:
as it opens in a Prologue scene, erin grant is in a custody hearing, trying to get her daughter back from her ex husband played by robert patrick
which of course, the judge isn't convinced
so when she is at a strip club called the eager beaver, she meets the other dancers, as well as the bouncers
and on the first level, all through out the film, there is this level of friendship between erin and the other dancers and the bouncer
that can be easily in the same vein as thelma and louise, But without the violence
in other arcs of the film, you have erin's ex played by robert patrick, who is not the best person to raise a little girl
and he does things that are completely abusive
whereas erin does things that says "i am supporting my kid, whether my ex, the judge, or any other fool likes it or not"
and she has fun with the other dancers
in other moments, people ranging from the bouncers, the bouncers's sidekicks, and even the patrons all are talking
and they all have different points of view of what was going on
the armand assante character, al garcia, this character is really good, but he probably could have been
a much better take on this lovable cop had assante not played cynical bad guy characters like rico in judge dredd
which to me had assante been in a lawyer film instead of judge dredd, it probably would have helped cut his teeth on preping for the al garcia character
now, in other moments of the film, you have burt reynolds as a senator
and of course erin grant goes and entertains him
But it isn't the senator that is irritating
its the senators henchmen that are irritating
robert patrick as darrell grant, this actor is about as irritating to listen to , as if you gave his other character in terminator 2, the t-1000 some pot , thats how Much of a Bad character this character is, he plays one good character one year, and then is relegated to a bad person the next, robert patrick is the goose egg of this film, doesn't know what he wants out of his character, and always complains a lot ,because of his irritating way he's talking down to erin's kid, angela,
overall, despite the film's flaws, the film is worthy of a review

yeah sure, a woman in her mid 30s who claims she has never seen Ghost (or Dirty Dancing or Titanic)?!!
again i have to call shenanigans, i mean c'mon you should check out her list of uploads, i wouldnt be surprised if next its going to be Tamara never seen the weather report. dont get me wrong, she seems nice and i sort of like her reviews but judging by the basic standard mainstream - everybody including their grandmother has seen - movies that for some reason she hasnt seen she must have been living under a rock for the last 35 years or just plain cold lying.
