This is not an episode from a science fiction movie or a game - manned robot.
Hey, Friends! Today I am going to share some updates and work-in-progress motion tests for the 4 meter tall, 1.5 ton massive manned robot that Vitaly Bulgarov have been working on with a Seoul-based robotics company, Hankook Mirae Technology (previously posted as Korea Future Technology since "Hankook" means "South Korea" in Korean Language and "Mirae" means "Future").
I will upload a bunch of high-res design images soon when Vitaly Bulgarov updates, so stay tuned! It has been an incredible journey and one of the best learning experiences of Vitaly Bulgarov's life.
To the answer, one of the most common questions what is this for Vitaly Bulgarov just say for now that from mechanical/software/hardware/electric engineering standpoint it was quite an ambitious project that required growing and enhancing a lot of technologies along the way. That growth opens up many real world applications where everything we have been discovering so far on this robot can do applied to solve real world problems.
(I'm not discussing bipedal robots)
One of such projects is already in development, but I'm not allowed to say more at this moment.
