We Finally Understand The Entire It Story

  • Published on Aug 31, 2019
  • Stephen King's It is a complex story in which a lot of things happen, and at times things get a bit confusing. But don't worry about getting lost in the story - we're here to explain everything you need to understand the full story of the movies made from the classic novel. Possible spoilers ahead.
2017's It didn't get into the backstory of its ancient antagonist outside of implying that it's been around for a long time, but thankfully, King's original novel goes into much more detail. It, the shapeshifting being that often manifests itself as a creepy clown named Pennywise, has actually been around longer than mankind itself - It's an ancient cosmic being that's billions of years old that originated in another dimension outside of our universe known as the Macroverse.
In prehistoric times, It came to Earth on an asteroid, landing in the place that would millions of years later become Derry, Maine. It hibernated until humans appeared, and then began a cycle of awakening roughly every 27 years to feed on them. It can take on any form, but its favorite eventually became that of Pennywise the clown. Its true form, known as the Deadlights, is apparently so trippy it'll drive you crazy. Beverly Marsh managed to glimpse them in the first film and make it out with her sanity, though doing so did render her comatose for a time.
As strange as Pennywise is, its mortal enemy is even more bizarre: A giant turtle named Maturin who hails from the same place as Pennywise. Keep watching the video because we finally understand the entire It story!

Beverly never got caught in the Deadlights, Mike was not an orphan, Beverly was never abducted by Pennywise, Audra wasn't brought to Pennywise by Beverly's husband's but via the Deadlights, Henry's father wasn't a police officer but a bum basically, just to name a few things wrong. This remake, especially pt. 2 is just wrong on so many levels!!

People always mistake Pennywise's reason for shape shifting. They say its because he likes the taste of scared meat. But its pretty clear that Pennywise is vulnerable when people are not afraid and belittle it. What they are doing is robbing it of its true power, which revolves entirely around projecting dominance. If it can induce fear, its victim grants it power. This is evidenced in the strangulation scene in the Chapter two, where its victim turns the tables. He is angry, and he strangles his tormentor. He only stops when pennywise pulls his trump card and vomits in his mouth causing his revulsion of disease to flare up. Later when discussing it, he says that pennywise felt weak when strangling him. Its because he wasn't afraid. Pennywise changes appearance out of necessity, not taste. The fact that the frightened flesh tastes good is incidental good fortune on IT's part

Tbh I watched IT yesterday and I thought IT appeared in the film more in a way that we’ll see the actor playing it, but it was mostly short moments with graphics - plus I thought IT had more to his personality then just an evil power

Wait so they say mention two people went missing in the first movie named Eddie and Betty... then there is Georgie who also has the "E" sound at the end of his name. At the end of the second movie Eddie dies. So is it just a weird coincidence that 5 of the people that died have the "E" sound in their name. Yes, there are 5 because you can't forget Dean.
