[ASMR?] Accent Tag Challenge - American vs. English

  • Опубликовано: 13 мар 2018
  • Thank you to the lovely Creative Calm ASMR for taking on the dubious role of "ENGLISH ACCENT." You can (and should!) subscribe to her here: goo.gl/41MV6U
(Note: We can hear each other, but not see each other! If it looks funny to anyone hehe, we both recorded on our own end and Shawn stitched us together for maximum quality!!!)
Enjoy the brash, straightforward American version in your left ear, and the fancy, smooth English accent in your right. We tried to keep this as ASMR as possible but....there is quite a bit of uncontrollable giggling involved hahaha. hence the "?" in the title. I had so much fun filming this (at my 4 in the morning...!!) and I hope you enjoy it!
Timestamps TBA, but here is the list of words!
    Round 1
    Vitamin Water
    Class Schedule
    Tomato Sauce
    Banana Bread
    Ball or Bowl?
    Round 2
    Baby carriage
    Shopping cart
    iPhone/Androids are:
    Summer, Spring, Winter, and _____
If you need to buy something, you go to the _______
Biscuit vs. Cookie (wtf is a Crumpet)
What you put on a small cut?
    Peanut Butter and _________
At the sink, the water comes out of the:
    Trainers vs. Sneakers’
    What’s a banger?
What schools do you go to in order?
    Chips vs. Fries vs. Crisps

    That's all folks!!! Enjoy!! C:
    My upload schedule:
    ►Every Tuesday
    ►Every Thursday
    ►Every Saturday
(💖☀️Seeking Therapy or Counseling? Try online.)
I find that I get a lot of comments and messages about using ASMR for anxiety, depression, and more. I can totally relate with that, and ASMR is an awesome outlet for those things. However, if you’re interested, above is a link to a website with real, professional & licensed counselors. You can type to them, or call them! It’s actually a really cool service and I use it personally. It costs as low as $35 a week, and you don’t have to leave your house to use it. :)

FTC: By using my BetterHelp referral link you are supporting this channel. I receive commissions on any sales, but I only promote products I believe in. (I use this website to talk to my own personal therapist!)
I also donate regularly to The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. I highly recommend it! They give grants to scientists who do studies to better understand and treat mental illnesses.

I'mma be real. So to me it sounds like People from the UK pronounce with extra effort, like English sounds normal to me and British English is more complicated to pronounce.
And English is NOT my first language Spanish is, American English just sounds more natural to me. English people add more effort in pronounciation, which kinda ticks me off but what ever.

    Schools in England.
Nursary school, infant school, primary school, start high school or secondary school (both terms are used) at 12 years old and finish at 16 years old then there is 2 types of college 6th form which is a levels and multiple subjects then there is normal collage for btec national diplomas before university you ca enroll in a foundation course which is a 1 year course usualy which is an introductory course to univisity which almost garentees your place in thw course of your choice then there is university but we also have different types like here in Manchester we have a metropolitan university and a normal university I can't tell you the difference as we all get a degree at the end of our courses but In university you can also study a masters degree and then move onto a doctorate. We have university courses for some really strange things my favourite being a degree in David Beckham studies as in the famous footballer 😂😂. But then we have more serious courses for example Manchester university is the only university outside of Egypt that has a degree to study mummification.
Lots of fun facts for anyone who may be interested.

I feel like schooling in America and England is so weird, in Australia you go to primary from kindergarten to year 6 and high school from year 7-12
Americans dont even refer to grades in high school its just freshman etc its so odd you also call them grades not years like Australia does
