  • Thank you to the lovely Creative Calm ASMR for taking on the dubious role of "ENGLISH ACCENT." You can (and should!) subscribe to her here: goo.gl/41MV6U
(Note: We can hear each other, but not see each other! If it looks funny to anyone hehe, we both recorded on our own end and Shawn stitched us together for maximum quality!!!)
Enjoy the brash, straightforward American version in your left ear, and the fancy, smooth English accent in your right. We tried to keep this as ASMR as possible but....there is quite a bit of uncontrollable giggling involved hahaha. hence the "?" in the title. I had so much fun filming this (at my 4 in the morning...!!) and I hope you enjoy it!
Timestamps TBA, but here is the list of words!
    Round 1
    -----------------
    Vitamin Water
    Class Schedule
    Tomato Sauce
    Issue
    Banana Bread
    Ball or Bowl?
    Nonchalant
    Vaccine
    Round 2
    -----------------
    Baby carriage
    Shopping cart
    iPhone/Androids are:
    Summer, Spring, Winter, and _____
If you need to buy something, you go to the _______
Biscuit vs. Cookie (wtf is a Crumpet)
What you put on a small cut?
    Peanut Butter and _________
At the sink, the water comes out of the:
    Trainers vs. Sneakers’
    What’s a banger?
What schools do you go to in order?
    Chips vs. Fries vs. Crisps

    That's all folks!!! Enjoy!! C:

I find that I get a lot of comments and messages about using ASMR for anxiety, depression, and more. I can totally relate with that, and ASMR is an awesome outlet for those things. However, if you’re interested, above is a link to a website with real, professional & licensed counselors. You can type to them, or call them! It’s actually a really cool service and I use it personally. It costs as low as $35 a week, and you don’t have to leave your house to use it. :)

FTC: By using my BetterHelp referral link you are supporting this channel. I receive commissions on any sales, but I only promote products I believe in. (I use this website to talk to my own personal therapist!)
I also donate regularly to The Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. I highly recommend it! They give grants to scientists who do studies to better understand and treat mental illnesses.

Jelly vs jam vs preserves vs marmalade
Jelly is made with only the fruit’s juice
Jam is made with the juice and flesh of the fruit
Preserves are made with all edible parts of the fruit, including the seeds and rinds of some varieties.
Marmalade is any of the above, but made with citrus fruit.

It feels so strange to know all those words and then you say it to a British person and they're like, you don't say that or that's the wrong word, and you're like, but I learnt it, did school lie to me?

You touched on several topics but maybe you could zero in on everyday objects? Sometimes, when I watch a British comedy or something, they use words or expressions I don't understand. Anyway, great job and please do it again.
