Building A Widebody Ferrari 458!!!

  • Published on Sep 15, 2019
  • Our first widebody install!!! This is something we have never done before and we are learning a lot in the process. This GT3 kit is going to be absolutely insane when its done and can't wait to see what other crazy mods it will get. We are also working on our personal 458 spider at the same time and can't to complete it. Thanks For Watching!!!

What I wanna know is, the person who owns that Ferrari must be rich and if they are rich why don't they spend the money to get this job done professionally by an authorized Ferrari Factory or something ? Why get what looks to be a couple of 19 year old kids (although they may actually be a lot older than this but they look to be about 19 years old) to do what appears to be a half assed job on such an expensive car ?

It's probably been said before, but for the Bumper-Skin/Headlight/Fender problem:
Consider making a hockey-stick/L-shaped filler-piece/template out of 3/4" Plywood to fill the gap perfectly,
    Round all the edges over,
Then reduce the size like 1-2mm on all sides to allow for part-thickness,
And then send it out to a shop that can fabricate carbon-fiber and have them make the part.
    One example might be:
You may even be able to partner with them with a mention/link/logo, etc. sponsorship to do it for a zero/reduced cost.
    Or DIY:
Then just paint it rosso-corsa and stick to the front bumper-skin with that super-strong 3M trim-adhesive tape. Similar to this one:
    Anyway, good luck guys!

Wide body looks like Lightning McQueen from Disney's Cars!!! Sorry, I'm a purist and hate to see a perfectly fine vehicle turned into a fiberglass/Kevlar/carbon fiber caricature of a Ferrari. However, that being said, you do a little work to add the wide body kit and you score free parts to get your Ferrari reassembled.

It is not Iphone "ex" max, it is Iphone 10 max. They just use latin numbers ( X = 10) to brand the model. Actually never mind 7 ,8 , 9 or X they are always the same phone except few changes in the style. Ferrari wide body kit looks nice, but those parts that needed to cutted off, will make the construction more unstable in my opinion.

Hey guys I’m a little late watching this episode. Looking good but I think you two missed a very big point. When you welded in your aluminum front rails you didn’t add your collapse points. V-tune did it for Samcrac. He made his own tool and used it in a hydraulic press to form it.

If you guys want better video quality, go into setting and then to camera! Then press the "record video" and you can change it to 1080 60 fps or even 4k 30 fps or my favorite 4k 60 fps!! Just make sure you have a lot of storage available! :)

So they got a 458 carbon wide body kit, from a 458 that, by the looks of it, was raced. They are now trying to attach it to another 458, and for that they cut into the carbon of the kit? I'm puzzled! Who would ever do that?

You guys are doing a pretty good job. The problem is the design and the production and quality of these supercars. The companies are only interested in the performance of the engine.
Working on the engine and the body is any mechanics nightmare. to dismantle half of the car to remove the starter ?! How sick is this?! Now the company is more or less Volkswagen , but these engineers have never been involved in the design process at the beginning of these cars.
I personally cannot look at it , even a brand-new car has gaps like a badly repaired 3 times crashed body. Far away from quality at all, not worth the money, when you see how cheap the parts are from AUDI and VOLKSWAGEN. Even the cheapest Mercedes looks better when new.
You guys should better protect yourself and all the supercars around , not to talk about the animals. They are cute , but they should not be on a job site, especially the puppy! If you like them keep them away!

Small piece of Ferrarri history from the '60s; for a long time, there had been many thoughts about there possibly being "differences" from the right to the left side of the car. Some wag from Road and Track magazine wrote an article (tongue in cheek, for sure!) that claimed "all Ferrarri were built asymmetrically" or intentionally different side to side. IDK if that is true or not, but it was surely true of all the Alfas and Fiats I have worked on! Apparently, precision body placement means something different in Italian!
FWIW, I'd tape two or three layers of cardboard over the glass on any of those high dollar cars; there are no $100-$500 windshilds or rear cabin glass in either LamboLand or FerrarriLand; none, zilch, nada. I broke an Alfa Spyder w/s about 20 years ago- the glass cost $700 and then there was import duty and freight- oh, and it took four and a half months to arrive!
