When you make a video, DON"T cover up the parts we want to see with a big red box and letters. How dumb can you be?

Pretty sure Destin from Smarter Everyday filmed some of this. I saw an episode with him filming from a chopper

That periscope view was unique footage (to me at least). I don't think I've seen any other clips like that. Very cool!

I love how they put big freaking text right over the ship as it strikes and you can't see what you came to see. How freaking smart is that?

My son was involved in those exercises on another sub, I was there when they deployed & as a Navy vet myself I was aware there was a difference in the atmosphere from normal deployments prior to this one, that the crew & officers were very focused on their mission- which they could not disclose, but it doesn’t take rocket science to figure out why there have been more of these multi-national exercises in the past months than previous years. When I see some of the new technology-what we are allowed to see-our Navy is absolutely scary. No doubt. God bless my son & his crew, the other subs & crews, may they come home safe next year. Our enemies should be nervous.

Yeah, that's what you want to tell your enemy, "we haven't shot an antiship missile from submarines in over 20 years". Brilliant.

We didn’t shoot them because doctrine switched and we stopped placing harpoons and TASMs on subs altogether. Navy is reshaping that policy. at the end of the day our silent runners could sit right behind the props of enemy ships and they wouldn’t have a clue ;). They’re as good as dead already

well considering the US doesn't have any naval enemies with any capabilities, I think it will be okay...
