Stings outfit and general appearance is kinda timeless. Same can’t be said of rest of the lot.

I work as a Surgical Technologist. Was on call a few years back on a Sunday morning...we were setting up to do a hip replacement. The radio was playing (after the patient went to sleep and was stabilized) and this song came on!! We pulled up to the table and basically synchronized the incision with the beginning of the guitar riff by Knoffler. It WAS EPIC>>>everyone in the whole room was totally in sinc with that song....it's been 20 years and I've never forgotten it. Needs to be said that music in the OR is common and can be shut off and attention refocused in a nono second if need be. At no time was the patient in any danger!

yup... Bill Maher is right about a lot of stuff... I'd be honored if some Dire Straits fans would take a listen to my acoustic piano & vocal performance of ON EVERY STREET on my YT channel in tribute to the legendary songwriting of Mark Knopfler. Live acoustic with no autotune or digital editing. Thanks and RESPECT to the legends.
