Holy shit... I found this song around 2011, and I thought life was shit back then... You never realize how stupid you are until you become older enough to see yourself back then, and wish to be there once more.

It's so fucking beautiful, I feel like Tim doesn't get appreciated enough.
The amount of emotion he puts into these songs show, and it's so amazing. Every guitar strum is perfect, and so are his vocals EVERY TIME. I've never seen someone play guitar and sing at the same time so easily like this guy does. I fucking love Tim more than any other lead singer I do believe, he's so smart.
I really wish they'd go back on tour, they're my favorite band and I hadn't been able to get to past concerts.
    - Tim for president, 2016.

yeah that doesn't matter who started punk rock...it doesn't even matter what punk rock actually is because you can look at it from very different angles.
but the thing you don't seem to get is that politicians WON'T stop personal agendas...you have to think outside the box to change things and if you don't want to do anything about the problems we obviously have in this world than that's your decision, but at least i can say i tried to change something when i'm old

  • Jim Jameson
    Jim Jameson 5 years ago

and where something starts is like arguing about whether the sex pistols or the ramones started punk rock. it doesn't matter now. look at what's on the table. if politicians stopped personal agendas, and looking to the past for closure we'd have shit fixed in a month. most definitely

wtf is wrong with you? i've got a backround of immigration and encountered racism and xenophobia many times...that's where my activism started. you see i've got reasons for being an activist.
besides, what is the hell is wrong with wanting to make things better for everyone?!

  • Jim Jameson
    Jim Jameson 5 years ago

you're a political activist and you haven't paid a tax or gotten fucked by a politician in your life. brilliant. live your life kid. you'll be 25 and probably working a job you hate before you know it. when that happens.. become a political activist with an agenda that is going to make someones life better. start with yours and people like you.

  • Joellipopelli

when i was about 13 years old RA was my favorite Band...they remained my favorite band until i was 15...since then i kinda grew out of them...i am 17 now and turned to the more underground punk/hc/ska bands and also started to listen to hip-hop. I am a political actvist now.
i still respect them and i am really thankful that they brought me up to politics and activism! without them i would still be the close minded kid i once was! :)

Just someone who is tired of a tired, seven year old joke that glorifies someone who has contributed nothing to society. Seriously. It's old and unfunny.
Also, you are aware that there is a "Reply" button, right? It should be right under my comments. Use it when you respond to me, that way I'll get a notification in my inbox telling me that you're actually attempting to communicate with me.
P.S. One exclamation point and question mark would have got your point across crystal clear.

He used to be pretty good at fighting, and I suppose I don't have any right to tell you whether or not a movie was good or not, but now he's retired and borderline senile. Have you seen some of the PSA-like videos he's put out? He's fuckin' crazy. He is a homophobic, ignorant asshole who doesn't deserve the attention he gets from people who still think Chuck Norris jokes are funny.
