This is brainwashing. Death to pepsi znd coke! Dr.Pepper? Nope dr.obese! The more I watch, the more I am sickened and disgusted.
So much poision! So many messed up snd overweight Americans! More chemicsls and sugar please! Yum yum that burns!
Actually back then people did not get overweight also a lot of foods were more natural and people were more active then now. people are only overweight now is because all of the added steroids, and artificial fake food. People now are also not as active
I grew up in the 80s. These commercials seem very much like commercials that were made by people who grew up in the 60s. Hair spray, cars with good gas mileage, cheap food, cameras, mouth wash, gum...not much technology in this bunch. Also, where are all the fat people? Everyone is fat today so surely everyone has always been fat.
My grandma bought me some Jean Naté when I was little and using made me feel sophisticated. LOL.
The El Camino was a man's car.
I used to dread commercials. Now I look for these old ones on RUclip.
Dang I miss those days!! Life was simple and fun and peaceful. And no damn social media, cell phones, ect.
I have close up toothpaste. Glad somethings are still around.
Best foods really is the best mayo.
Was that Doug Llewelyn from The People’s Court helping to sell Anacin?
Jean Nate and Dr. Pepper were popular.
Wow! We have gone so far downhill since the 70's. I got choked up. I remember alot of these commercials. But, now that the veil has lifted, we can't go back. So sad, so innocent. Our country has turned into a CESSPOOL OF PIGS AND FILTHY, CLASSLESS LOWLIFE POND SCUM !!!!
When simplicity didn’t cost a fortune..
Should have a shirt "I survived the great conditioner crisis of the 70's and 80's."
17:48 - was she going for the Mindy look from Mork & Mindy?
I get a kick out of seeing the older technology again that was so state of the art at the time. Hard to think that Beta Max was ever "cutting edge". Funny how we used to wanna skip these ads back then (like we wanna skip current ones now) and now we look back on these ads fondly now in compilations. I can't imagine wanting to watch compilations in the future of ads from the 2000s.
1:05:45 "Rich in natural food value"? It cannot even be digested by human beings, and is a gut irritant!
Extreme Belch Competition.
When women were still in the kitchen, doing laundry and being a housewife. Good ole days
It kind of sucked for mom , but the kids were raised better .
Farrah Fawcett cancer commercial, sad irony.
Wow, Pepsi in a glass bottle, it was cheaper & tasted way better & I could save the bottles & get money right at the store.....I remember way too many of these commercials...
Mmmm,😋I’ve gotta try the Burger King Veal Parmigiana!
Commercials from the 50s to 90s were the best
Jean Nate Jean Nate Jean Nate Jean Nate Jean Nate Jean Nate...infinity!
Kerry is so very
best foods = hellmanns on east coast
47:50, that Ferris's dad!
I payed for RUclip Red to avoid adds, yet here I am.
Black Flagg Roach Motel...still works.
Try going 55 mph today, when everyone is doing 80.🙄
Doing 80 or more!!!
thought that dude was trump
breathe savers one
You could watch one commercial and already be hooked on the product, just simpler times I never grew up in
“Needs more garlic” sounds like ragu
So sad Farrah Fawcett made that advert about checks and she died despite that.
1:35:09 I wonder how that name holds up now
Its still around
55 mph - Jimmy Carter crap
I knew it! The guy in the Dr. Pepper commercials is the same guy that sang that song, "Makin it," & he was in "An American Werewolf in London!" I remember ALL of that.
You mean David Naughton.
2:27:10 Corey Glover, future lead singer of Living Colour
What a great and wonderful time warp. It's totally awesome and absolutely fabulous!!! Makes me forget about the crappy and shitty situation we're living these days. It even makes me forget about smartphones and social media technology. It's so relaxing and very therapeutic. It even relieves stress. 😀😀😀👍👍👍
David Naughton from American Werewolf in London in the Dr. Pepper commercial.
The Cannon AE1 was really a great camera! Used That through the first part of my photography school in '95. Thanks for posting)
Is that Seth Green at 14:59?
Why the jean Nate ad constantly repeated? 🙄
mst3kanita It’s a catchy song, I guess?
When tv was great...
Yes kids, there were commercials beyond pharmaceuticals, a long time ago.Watching tv was very entertaining.
Jim Nabors At Knotts Berry Farm! Hell yes!
You have a nice ass c
Was that a salad with mayonnaise as the dressing!!!!!!!! 😷...also aqua fresh before it grew its third stripe
+Peaches And Cream. Ewwww no the fuck not 😷
Rusty Shackleford - Try cucumber and mint dressing. It's an Indian recipe that is really fresh and delicious! Google for recipe.
+Lisa67 thanks...if you want crack you up in person ..im hilarious
In the 70s, many people still made their own dressing. You'd use Miracle Whip, mayo, or sour cream, etc. for creamy dressings. Used to be able to buy seasoning packets to make dressing. I don't know if they still sell them. ?Also, your name cracks me up. lol
Happy meals aren’t full size anything anymore
Why's every KFC commercials ONLY use black foljs
Don't look backward, look FORWARD! JESUS is coming again SOON!St John 3:16! 💓The BEST is yet to come!
damn dude ..wth is with your obsession with ''jean nate''..lol
Even though I'm not liking this whole getting old thing!! You couldn't pay me enough money to be a young person in today's world. we had it's so much better in the 70s and 80s life was easy life was clean life was fun.
I was named after Jean Naté perfume 😂🤷🏼♀️ Danielle Naté
Milk commercial in the 80’s....now, time for 40 oz, crack.. terrible times we are in
The English Leather commercial, “All my men wear English Leather or nothing at all.” Wow, times have changed....
Before corporate there were small pop car dealerships...
Damn did anyone else get a non-skippable 2 and a half hour ad?
Wow! Most of these ads would be banned today in 2018 because of IDIOTS! ... Notice how many commercials use the word AMERICA in it? That’s because much more was actually made here until corporate GREED came into play. And then came the Snowflakes ❄️. So here we the 70’s kids are now in our early 50’s wishing we could go back simply because we can see how good it actually was at that time. No iPhones, iPads, texting , social media and people actually spoke to each other. God bless us all!
Born in 71 remember all these goodys. the muppet polaroid wowee. I used to sneak my moms jean nate collection the powder i spilled every where once. waiting for Dallas after a few of these. Wouldnt that be great to watch will all the commercials. DREAMS DREAMS.
Omg, where can i find lady stetson these days? I loved it!!
Pay phone booths? A thing of the past, literally
I remember the body on tap hair care, shame its not made anymore, was good products
Memories! It's weird how they used sex to sell everything.

It's a trip to see ones I had totally forgotten about. Takes me back immediately.
Sad irony to see Farrah Fawcett doing a cancer awareness PSA back in the 1970s. RIP.
God bless us for our humbleness
These help me sleep at night instead of dead silence plus they’re nostalgic to my 90’s kid self even though it’s from the 70’s
How sadly ironic -- lovely Farrah Fawcett at 36:51 talking about the risk of cancer, and urging people to learn more at the American Cancer Society. She always was such a natural; she seemed so kind and loving. Rest in peace.
As a young lad in the 70's, I loved seeing her on my bedroom wall everyday. I had such a mad crush on her. Damn Lee Majors!!
Im in Europe painting watercolors in public been the only one so far & was the only one painting outside the Louvre Art Museum & been told People painted & sketch there in the 1970s. Wow! what happen to this World? By the way been Approach by mostly older Europeans with appreciation though my background is Mexican-American. Thxs to the 1970s when I was a kid. ❤
I wish I was back in the 60s where things were more simplistic and funner.
Vanna6345 Me too! We need a time machine lol
It's only 9:00am, and I'm wanting a beer.
Gotta get some of that foamy shave cream
Woooow, I feel old. I remember seeing most of these on t.v. 😭😭😭😭😭
Yes! Before most commercials were for prescription drugs.
That wasn't allowed until the 90s.
the airplane Pepsi commercial is sweet
She hates pain!......Who would have thought that? ....We all love it.
Got to get to CandRs for my $100 dollar suit.
Don Addams was GANGSTA YO ... he DRANKS the malt liquor BULL son!!
Let's go Back to this time.
Donald Trump is Gisele Bündchen.
I remember the Twice Fresh air fresheners at 3:34. I loved to pull those apart and smell them.
Hubba Bubba was yummy gum.
Yuk i remember Emaraude that was worse than Tabu cologne.I remember all of these commercials wow
So basically, Gene Nate' After bath splash is for people who want to make themselves uninsurable. I have to admit, I remember buying it and using it in 1985.... and I'm a guy. lol. I still remember the smell and I have to admit it is peppy. Though I never jumped a dirt bike over a freeway bridge when wearing it. They apparently still make it, too.
Is cucumber dressing still a thing? That sounds really good.
It was really good. I just recently told my husband that was my favorite as a kid.
Yes kraft makes it
I remember so many of these ads. I remember Micky Rooney was a Pepper.. I'm a Pepper he's a Pepper wouldn't you like to be a Pepper too.. didn't watch much TV back then. But they sure made them so you would remember when you was out and about. What a great time it was then and so much more simpler.
The Volkswagen Rabbit ad... the guy is supposed to be in Scotland, but he's driving in a car with the steering wheel on the left...
I can't wait for flat-asses to make a comeback. Pretty ladies don't need junk in their trunk!!
I don't think life was simpler back then, it's just we were young without responsibility.Nevermind, I think I just defined simpler😉
Ah, The lost art of the commercial jingle. So many TV ads had quick and easy jingles to sell products. Dr. Pepper and Jean Nate are iconic. and the lesser known Nuance commercial uses that song ballad style that could almost be played on the radio.
I feel old watching these.
Thats because you remwmber them
Ahhhhhh Back when competition was ALIVE !
It’s so fun seeing all the defunct products and which ones are still around.
I googled quite a few products here and was surprised to find out that some I thought were defunct are still around. Had no idea Jean Nate was still available.
Commercials now are obnoxious. They can't just talk about the product like they did in decades past. They include incredibly dumb humor (if you could call it that), annoying 'music' and irritating sound effects. I mute them.
I can’t believe how many of these I actually remember lol!
