I love that she says Iran and not *I ran* I know her dad is from there so your like of course she knows how to pronounce it but there are so many people who just roll with and pronounce it the wrong way themselves so for example an Amal becomes an ‘A mall’ and they’ll just introduce themselves as such to not to confuse people who don’t have an understanding of our culture and it takes a very brave and confident person to stand up and say this how it’s actually pronounced. It’s a small gesture which has such a deep meaning that very few people possess.

What's the interviewer's dialect? Can't place it. Sounds almost Australian, but also not. Is it a mix of dialects?
SN: The background music is a little annoying and distracting, imo.

when someone wants you to be an adult to make them money, but want to disregard you and treat you like a child when what you say is inconvenient for them to hear to the point that they don't even care to hear you...it's time to leave. Good for her.

Well spoken. Though I do question her train of thought. On one end you have her saying there are those in her community who have it worse than her and that she is in a position of where she's protected from having to be in that predicament. Another you have her saying she's speaking on behalf of her community, which by the way her community is thriving in numerous ways here in America. I know she's young, and she has ways to go and learn, but hopefully someone tells her the truth of reality is that people can thrive here in America despite their race, I mean looks like her and her family are accumulating a lot of wealth compared to the individuals in the communities she represents.
