I think Copper pipe would be one of worst materials to use. First off, it's the most expensive metals to buy. Second, it would is heavy to carry around. Go with carbon Fiber or aluminum. It Looks nice, but I don't think it's necessary

Thanks so much for this video. I bought the items and now attempting to build my own. Lets see how it goes. I'm using your templates but not sure if it'll work since my pulleys are a bit bigger and fits perfectly onto the pipes.

I am going to be building this today. Woke up a little earlier than usual at 5 am and as soon as the DIY stores open I am headed straight there. This rig is incredible looking and uses materials that I think make i look professionally made. Can't wait to see how mine comes out. You've got yourself a new sub after that video. Now time to go back through all your other videos to see what else I can get materials for before I go out haha. Keep up the good work, amazing job on this rig.

So I've made this, but for some reason the nylon pulleys don't actually fit onto the copper pipe... like they hit each other before the opening can get small enough to slide onto the end of the copper pipe. Did you put the wrong size of the pulleys in the link or is there something wrong with the drawings that were uploaded?

great video thanks! One thing to improve It should not be shiny because you can see your rig easier on reflections. thats why all video on photo gear is mainly black.
