The Creator case and tempered glass. If the "dual" pane is laminated, then yes, absolutely it will aid in sound abatement. It's a common practice in construction to use Lami Glass in the sealed units for windows specifically for sound abatement. Don't see why it wouldn't work in a case.

I hate all these minimalistic cases with glass panels and closed front panels. Why don't they make cases with full 3x140 intakes with a dust filter and no glass or panels blocking airflow??

Wondering when the USB 3.2 Gen 2 header is going to be more prevalent on AMD motherboards. So many cases have that USB C port up front now - but the X570 boards are hit or miss in the midrange for having it. My OCD won’t let me have an unconnected port 😜.

Great. Plunk your 3950x in there so dragon center can limit the cpu to base clock. Uninstall dragon center and somehow it's still running at startup. Like a virus. That was my experience with the x570 Meg Ace board. Contact MSI support and don't get a reply. Or the reply says PBO does nothing. Benchmarks show 10% gain in performance with dragon center removed. Have to boot into safe mode and use regedit to remove dragon center from startup

$199 isn't that bad for X570 assuming it's got good power delivery and a few bells and whistles.

    • Timi Kärkkäinen
      Timi Kärkkäinen 2 months ago

@Specter thats just stupid when it runs hot above 8 core and doesn't have pci4

    • Chris W.
      Chris W. 2 months ago

@Specter Fair enough. I have more of a workstation than a gaming PC so X570 has some features that I prefer like support for more than 64GB RAM. Also, a few extra PCIE lanes go a long way for my two x4 storage controllers

    • Specter
      Specter 2 months ago

But if your going budget I would much rather get the b450 tomohawk max for $140

  • kniVes

Well, they need to get a good budget-midrange x570 out there considering how bad the vrm's are on their current x570 line up.

      Tuf can handle everything

    • Arshia Soleimany
      Arshia Soleimany 2 months ago

kniVes Not really true. The TUF and the Aorus Elite are quite nice. Although the TUF is a 4 phase the choke design is nice and will perform top performance for anything short of the 3950x, and the Elite has the exact same VRM solution as the 100$ more expensive Taichi, a doubled 6 phase

I've left a comment on another MSI video but I'll leave one here aswell.
The charm with Tomahawk was that it was a B450 board. Cheap and enough for most People.
Happy to see that Pricetag tho, nice to see a cheap X570 board that doesn't look megabudget

X570 is so fucking expensive... which isn't MSI's fault, of course. or anyone's *fault*, really. just how it is.
also i like how the front door on that case just straight up covers the lighting. can the door be removed or would you have to break if off if you didn't want / need it?
