My main beef with the feminist movement is the inconsistency.
A part of feminism tells me I as a man should be able to show my feelings more, that this is what feminism is for.
Then I meet another part of feminism, that laughs at me with "lol male tears" when I speak about my emotions and struggles.
And that is just one example out of dozens or even hundrets.
How can you support a movement that does not even itself know what it wants to be ultimatively?
I guess we all agree the umbrella term of it: Equality for all.
But when you listen to the actual discussions going on, Equality never seems to be the final goal.

Malleny omg she is crying about her parents telling her to get the table ready really? I'm mexican/Salvadorian american and yes it's a cultural thing to have the women get things ready in the kitchen. But it's also a thing that the boy or male child in the house is out working with his dad in the construction places, ect at a young age with blazing sun or freezing cold. I hope that if she wants to be treated like a mexican american male I hope she is also ready to go work in construction. Because I would of loved for my parent to tell me to get the table ready instead of going out there in the blazing sun or freezing cold.

The feminist movement is inherently flawed because it alienates males who traditionally hold the reins to society. Yellow shirt girl at 8:45 is a perfect example of flawed feminism.

The word "Feminism" = the empowerment of women. It is nothing about "equality". We should support equality for everyone, but we should be suspicious of any movement that is named after one group instead of everyone.

Also the question about birth control for the most part isn’t about controlling women’s bodies. It’s about the intrinsic value of life and killing babies. There is no great sexism behind that movement just b/c it’s on the “other side” it’s literally just saying at what point does murder not become murder. I’m on the fence about it still

Idea and the movement for equality is called "egalitarism", not "feminism". Feminism is a political interest group, and as such it does not fight for equality - it fight for womens' interests *only*. Even when said interests lie in preferences and domination over the rest, i.e. over men.

The statement that there are less women in higher academia is not true. There are more women in medical school than men. Which proves if women want to go to a higher education they can as medical school are the most difficult school to get into and women are better at it.

FEMINISM CONDEMNS DISCRIMINATION AGAINST MEN TOO! Patriarchy as a system negatively affects not just women but also men. Feminism is against the system of patriarchy, it’s not anti-men it’s anti-patriarchy.
It’s called “feminism” so it must be for women’s rights only. Like what? No. Feminism is equality of BOTH genders.
They say things like this and then ridicule feminists for having problems with words like “snowMAN” (personally, I don’t find this whole snowman thing problematic)

    • Angry Egalitarian

Shawarma THE FACT THAT YOU’RE PRETENDING THAT THE PATRIARCHY STILL EXISTS DEBUNKS THAT! Patriarchy means a system that benefits men over women, which is the opposite of what’s happening.
-Men serve longer prison sentences than women for the same crimes
-Men cannot register to vote or drive without having to sign up for selective services to be drafted
-Women can decide whether a child is aborted or not while the would-be fathers have no say at all
-Men can be sued for child services despite having no say in whether the child was born or not
-Women can falsely accuse men of rape without facing any legal ramifications from the justice system
-In all cases of domestic violence men assumed to be aggressors and women are the victims regardless of evidence
-40-70% of domestic violence is against men however less than 1% of domestic violence shelter spaces are for men.
-There is more funding for women’s cancer treatment than men’s cancer.
-It is socially acceptable for a woman to hit a man but not for men to hit back
-Gay men are victims of hate crimes far more than lesbians
-Combat deaths: 97% men, 3% women
-Workplace fatalities: 93% men, 7% women
-Homicide victims: 76% men, 24% women
-Suicide victims: 80% men, 20% women
-Winner of custody over children in divorce cases: 16% men, 84% women
      -Homelessness: 60% men, 40% women
How can men be oppressed “too” when women are not oppressed at all?

The girl in the yellow is the exact reason why people don’t stand for feminism anymore, it’s just a goalless movement of arrogance. She claims equality is her top priority and proceeds to tell the guy his opinion isn’t needed because he’s a man. Like how retarded do you have to be to have your own point fly right over your own head.

Guy: "I think that the slogans and presentation of feminism isn't helpful and insulting sometimes"
Gal: "So like if you could just.. not be offended or disturbed by that stuff I think we could make progress"

... great counter point there -_-

Also the part where she says in the last election the qualified candidate didn't win so we should look at how gender played a part in that.
Like.. Clinton got millions of more votes than Trump. Clearly it wasn't her gender holding her back it was that she didn't get the votes in the states she needed to based off the electorial colledge, something that isn't really.. setup in a way that discriminates against women. Gender didn't stop Clinton from winning that, campaign strategy did.

3:28 I mean yeah, when a student is faced with a Vice principal compared to a teacher, more students are scared to get in trouble because they actually have a position of power over you and have the authority. While it’s true that most likely someone would more likely defy a woman teacher because they may not feel threatened by them physically, I think it’s more in general that students have just become more disobedient over the years

I think what a lot of people don't understand about the word 'feminism' is that it was called that TO build women up to the same level as men, being that men were already above us, therefore 'feminism' is the movement of being women up to men

WidowmakersBooty Thanks for confirming that modern western feminism does not exist and those who are still calling themselves feminists are actually female supremacists because women already have more rights and privileges than men do.
