As the queen's representative, Governor-General can appoint or dismiss cabinet ministers or other government officials, however, that power is exercised on the prime minister's advice. But if anyone wonders who is more powerful whether Prime-Minister or Governor-General, can look at the 1975 Australian constitutional crisis
which ended up the dismissal of the Prime-Minister.

It’s nice to have a human being with human feelings leading a country, I don’t know how the American people don’t rise up and rebel against the horrible people leading there country, how many murders, how many children have to die before the the American people stand up to there leaders, you have over 300 million people in your country and ever time there’s a school shooting you protest in such small numbers. I got to love how human the Prime Minister is here in NZ 💙 I wish so many people could see that, now she’s getting death threats 😔 people need to understand she proves most people wrong, she ain’t just about the country the law and government. She’s all about being a mum, a fiancé, a daughter and last but not least a friend/member of public.
