I saw an animation of the shooting. It was obvious that if he had taken action he could have prevented all or at least most deaths.

Yea we all hate this guy, but is it a crime to be a coward? All you armchair judges are so brave. How many of you would go towards the gunman with your pistol? You won't know until it happens. Statistically, very few of you. This coward will suffer for the rest of his life. Unless you've proved yourself, best to keep quiet.

Shad GotEm STOP DISARMING THE GENERAL PUBLIC A GUN FREE ZONE IS A SOFT TARGET ; HAVING ONE ARMED GUY IN A UNIFORM IS A POOR STRATEGY ESPECIALLY WHEN ALL OTHERS ARE DISARMED AND THEIR RIGHT TO DEFEND THEIR LIVES AND THOSE LIVES AROUND THEM BECAUSE SOME FUCKIN BRAIN DEAD PEN WEILDER WRITES A FUCKING DICTATE ON A PAPER CRAFTING A TRAIL OF FISH IN A BARREL TYPE SLAUGHTER OF INNOCENT VICTIMS. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED MEANS FUCK OFF WE DIDNT ASK YOUR FUCKING PERMISSION TO CARRY GUNS.
Mass closed casket funerals like in sandihook are psy ops no doubt. You think as a parent i trust that my kid died in the "school shooting" you show me the body or we got a problem. They be bussing your kid to some brainwash camp or some sex slave cartel while you crying over a closed casket.

i understand everyone gets scared but you shouldn’t be a cop especially at a school with children when you know you’re not willing to risk your life to protect them. he cost people their lives and for that he needs to be held accountable

If it was a security guard it's understandable they don't have proper training for these types of situations, but come on your a cop they signed up for these kind of threats

Piece of shit mf , a disgrace to this country and his colleagues rest in paradise the all the children lost in this senseless act ...... the real question is why hasn't the us government passed a new law every school in America has to have metal detectors in front of the school entrance and the schools parking lots ????? Why don't we always hear about shootings in courts, or governments buildings ???? Every government building/business has metal detectors!!!! They have all the resources and knowledge they just ignore the fact this is a huge problem in America!!!!!

I understand him being scared to go in the school but, he’s a Police Officer.. it’s their job! If you are a coward and don’t want to risk your life to save others, you’re not fit to be an officer. Find a different job (prob not a firefighter either.. Bc same thing, but it’s fire)

SOLUTION TO PREVENT SCHOOL SHOOTINGS !
I think a safe room at each entry at schools would help. A room or small building with magnetic locking doors that a person would have to go into before they are allowed to enter the school that would have the metal detector in it, and a security guard that would be inside the school watching that person ( on video or through the bullet proof glass) would have to open the door for the person before entry. If a gunman tried to gain entry into the school, he must first go into the safe building, and walk through the metal detector. If the detector goes off, then the magnetic doors lock automatically, and the shooter is trapped until police arrive.

You had a gun to stop a gunman. You were more trained than him and yet you still stood outside as students were being shot left and right. Would it have been different if your son or daughter was in that school? Maybe you would have rushed in there if they were. Failure to protect the lives that is under your care. You deserve punishment.

The United States Supreme court decided in Castle Rock v Gonzales (2005) and Warren v District of Columbia (1981) Police Officers have no Duty as it relates to the public duty doctrine to Protect or Serve. Its crazy the public insist on holding this man criminally responsible for the actions of the shooter Nikolas Cruz.

My experience with police is they want to do is extort citizens with bs fines that they too are guilty of breaking only to pay for their pensions. They need to know their place and a change is needed. Most are losers on power trips. RIP to the kids.

just because he had a pistol doesn't mean he could do anything. its the school's fault for not giving proper weapons, hiring a guy with no training, old and out of shape and only having 1 guy to a big school like that

He had no business being in that line of work, the training he received from the department also failed because if it was efficient he would of been drummed out long before he got his badge. Policeman should not be a career to just collect benefits without doing any real work.

Crazy to me how his is the face of everyones blame and anger. An old and out of shape security guard. I'm not excusing his inaction by any means but CMON!?
Kids that knew him or knew of him were aware he was capable of this.
The shooter had multiple encounters with law enforcement prior to the shooting.
His guardians purchased some of the weapons for him.
    He also attempted suicide twice.
Despite his track record he was allowed to join ROTC programs where he was trained to handle various firearms in military fashion.
The NRA sells used firearms at a discount price to ROTC programs.
But on the day this kid finally has his breaking point its the old fat guys fault?
    Stay woke ppl
