  • When Falcon Heavy lifted off, it became the most powerful operational rocket in the world by a factor of two. With the ability to lift into orbit nearly 64 metric tons (141,000 lb)---a mass greater than a 737 jetliner loaded with passengers, crew, luggage and fuel--Falcon Heavy can lift more than twice the payload of the next closest operational vehicle, the Delta IV Heavy, at one-third the cost.
Following liftoff, the two side boosters separated from the center core and returned to landing site for future reuse.
Falcon Heavy put a Tesla Roadster and its passenger, Starman, into orbit around the sun. At max velocity Starman and the Roadster will travel 11 km/s (7mi/s) and travel 400 million km (250 million mi) from Earth.

This makes me excited for the future, hopefully I can help contribute to its shape.

The only thing that exits is what you “think” ....But we don’t know what “thinking” is made off.....coz to figure that out we need to “think” "...... Dint make sense ? Lol. Well if you want to study something...example say a book...you need to open it, read it and then you ll understand the book what it says. But imagine you give “life” to a book , can it understand itself ? Well..The Book itself is the understanding. .....hmmm still no sense ? Well let’s say 1 plus 1 is 2 , but is it correct ? How can 1 plus 1 be 2 ? It can be anything......coz every thing if add down to beyond atomic level......it will never add up to two of anything. Just like 1/3 = 0.33333333333333333333......does it end ? No.....then if you say 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 = 1 so is 0.333333333333.....till infinity added up 3 times is 1? Or does it add up to 0.999999999999999tillllinfinity ? So then how can u divide anything or multiple anything or add or substract ? ....either what I’m saying doesn’t make sense or It never made sense at all. If two humans can’t be alike.....2 bacteria s can’t be alike. 2 dnas can’t be like.........how can two atoms or two molecules be alike ? Well Im sure you ll say atom of Hydrogen and another atom of hydrogen makes two atoms of hydrogen and both are exactly alike. Hmmm I loose ......but wait.....how do u know if one atom of hydrogen is exactly the same as another atom of hydrogen ? Cause both are named hydrogen so they are alike ? Lol. We named them.....remove the names. Lets imagine two atoms of #&₹@*%+= ....yeah the ones in the prep question. How do you know if both of them are Exactly the same ? Coz the scientists did experiments and stuff ? But atoms are made of protons neutrons and electrons.......three masses and neutral charge overall.....then if u go deeper example protons are made of 2 up quarks and one downquarks .....and the scientists say each uq has a charge of +2/3 and dq has charge of -1/3 so it u add 2 uq and the 1 dq ul get a charge of +1 and 3masses. The charge and the masses together are unstable right ? Well look at them. Why should be together ? And to neutralise this we add a neutron and a electron and make a stable One ☝️ atom ! 😂 Even 1 is not 1 it’s made of many some”ones”. What are quarks made of ? You can’t be sure two bottles made by the same manufacturing machine have the same mass or weight at atomic level or beyond that. So it can never be 2 bottles. It has to be One bottle and another One something like the first bottle . Show me one thing which is the same as another. Nothing is same. Everything is different. If u go back you can keeping going back in time......and keep going front.....there is no beginning or an end. The question of Does God exist ? Who created God ? What was “ before” time ....... are as same as what 1 divided by 0 means. Since we can’t figure out what 1 by 0 is ...coz if I divide you by 0 what are you ? Makes sense ? No ..... so same way the questions have no sense. Nothing have any sense. All logics are also senseless. But if realise that everything is senseless.....without even knowing what is “ knowing” or “realising” or “ thinking” is in the first place.....Then .................(1/0) 😉

why dont they build a space station orbiting mars to start with. then from there go onto colonizing the surface after studying the planet for a while. they also need one orbiting titan. i am 15 years old and when im older i really hope that this world will have changed dramatically. all of the countries goverments need to forget all of their differences and put all of there money together to focus on space travel/exploration, visiting planets, colonizing them, etc. they also need to bring together all of the worlds best scientists and start working on a new type of propulsion so we can start exploring the galaxy and finding new life. THIS IS MY DREAM for us when we grow up. What do u think Elon?

    • pablo andres Acosta
pablo andres Acosta 5 дней назад

In March 2017, SpaceX's founder, Elon Musk, stated that because the launch of the new Falcon Heavy vehicle was risky it would carry the "silliest thing we can imagine".[6] In December 2017, Musk announced that the payload would be his personal Tesla Roadster.[7][8][9] Later that month, photos of the car were taken and publicly released prior to payload encapsulation.
One of the goals of SpaceX for the planned flight was to demonstrate their new rocket could carry a payload as far as the orbit of Mars. The company had offered NASA to carry a scientific payload; NASA did not accept.[10]
Following the successful launch, the Roadster became the first consumer vehicle sent into space.[11] Three bespoke manned vehicles have previously been sent into space: the lunar rovers of Apollo 15, 16, and 17 in the 1970s; all three were left on the Moon

Sometime in the very near future, it will be really cheap to orbit the earth (~ $50,000 and then less). It should be an absolute requirement of every head of state & every chief diplomat to take one of these rides. Every astronaut comes back from orbit incredibly moved by a) earth without boarders & political boundaries, b) the incredible beauty of the planet, and c) the tiny limits of the planet & its resources in the incredible black hostile universe.
Perhaps they might remember this experience when they later attempt to prioritize & solve the world’s serious problems.

How Does it Really Work 11 дней назад

Lots of rockets landed vertically even in 1960s, but not a single one of them launched any satellites into orbit -- and that is what makes all the difference between SpaceX and the others. Otherwise, an amateur rocketry club can land a rocket vertically -- and many do.

Although the Falcon Heavy burns liquid oxygen and kerosene, an igniter fluid called triethylaluminium-triethylborane is used for initial ignition of the engines. It seems as though there was little or no triethylaluminium-triethylborane being fed to two of the three engines, this resulting in the ignition of only one engine during the landing burn. Subsequently, the centre core crashed.
