The past few days I've been doing a test on the live stream question videos by making them longer with more questions but no funny pictures to see what you guys preferred. I've decided to keep the same format as before, shorter videos with funny pictures instead of longer ones without the pictures, since I don't have time to do both. So all videos will once again have the pictures, thanks for the input and support!

Ethonal does raise the octane if anything it lowers it. Lead in gas was for lubrication at the vaive seats now the have hardened seats. You don't get a good quality gas with Ethonal because it has a percentage of water in it. That's why it causes corrosion

There is a guy who's testing cheap gasoline vs shell v power... On a lawn motor
What's your point regarding his test? What all of of his and as all of yours "test" does apply to UK or Europe?

One of the last times i pumped gas i noticed that- I pressed on the handle, didn't hear any gas pour for a few seconds but the counter was going up on the screen and I was like "For what? The gas hasn't even exited the pump yet." On a scale of 1-10 for how pissed I was, I would say 2. But still. Scamming me.

Scotty has some kernels of good advice. However, I'm so thankful he is not my neighbor. He's a hoarder and the outside of his place looks like the city dump, not to mention the noise he makes working in his driveway and performing his manic rants.. He's very rammy when you see him do little jobs. Probably breaks as many parts as he fixes. I also tried to count the maple keys in the engine compartment of his Celica, but I gave up at 458.

I don't know why Scotty mentioned Uber at 7:46 and said that Uber charges more when it rains. I drive for Uber & Lyft here in California. And I have not seen that, but mostly because it rarely rains in California. However, California has the most expensive gasoline in the nation. And when the price went up recently $.60 per gallon. I did not see rate hikes on Uber charging per ride. I had to spend more on gasoline and still the basic ride within a 5 mile radius was $2.66. I didn't see a price hike during the surge in gas prices. Which of course if a bad thing for me in terms of losing money.

Because they probably use the same additives...because back in the day all these gasoline companies were actually 1 giant company called standard oil...dunno if they still are but Rockefeller was actually talen to court and fined 1 dollar for doing that...

Oregon says they don’t let you pump your own gas in order to create jobs. Not for safety. In fact in some areas where it would be considered unsafe to be outside all night they wave the requirement.

the irony of NJ having 100% full service is that the gas is actually cheaper than the surrounding states (PA/NY/DE/MD). as someone who's lived in NJ for over 25 years, i've always assumed the full service was for job creation. every Wawa i pull into always has 3-5 people working during rush hours. that is a lot of job creation when you extrapolate over the entire state.

I live in New York which is pump your own, Jersey stations is so-called full-service gas was about 30 cents cheaper (same brand) of course they do not clean windshields or check oil (which is fine by me) I am about your age and remember on the interstates the stations would check your oil everyone was a quart low, they would use the same can over and over till paint came off. About a year ago Jersey raised the taxes on gas so the difference now is about a dime

Friend hauled gas to stations from the rack, Exxon uses the least additives, Shell the most, I fill at Shell because you can keep getting 5¢/gallon off by putting your phone number in at the pump, I just use my old phone number every time.

If the register shows anything more than zero, while would anyone go ahead put gas in the tank? Many of use are old enough to recall that glass sight glass that supposed to be full when pumping start, and full when pumping stops. As far as NJ goes. Government regulations are written by those being regulates. After all, all across the board the USA has governments ran my the merchants.

I had this experience. I bought some gas at a place. Later, I went back there to buy some food as it had a deli there and the lady told me that a few minutes after I left, the price of gas changed (got cheaper). This was done from a central location electronically and was done because the price the gas station paid for the gas changed.
They didn't wait for the tank to be pumped completely dry to top it off so they ended up with a little bit of a more expensive batch still left in their big tank when the next batch (slightly cheaper arrived).
So when the central office determined that the second to last batch of gasoline was sold out which they purchased for that location, they stopped charging a priced based on that second to last batch and started pricing based on the most recent batch (the cheaper batch).
My point is that don't assume a sudden gas price change in the middle of the day means someone's cheating you.

People in New Jersey don't pump their gas for a reason, it creates jobs. Plus with every station using do it your self check outs, who wants to work for free? Also It is great not having to get out of your nice warm dry car to get gas.

The crazy thing about Jersey is although they don’t let us pump our own gas, the gas is STILL cheaper than neighboring states (NJ, PA etc). Think about that: their paying some kid $12/hr to pump your gas for you and the gas is STILL cheaper!

I used to be in retail brokerage (sold supply contracts to supermarkets, gas stations, and convenience stores). Chevron was a competitor for one of my clients. The reason they stopped advertising the additive percentage is because nobody cared. They tried to use it as a selling point. With a little research, they discovered it wasn't working and dropped it.
