    + Pike Place Market - 1:06
    + First Starbucks Store - 2:20
    + Kurt Cobain Landing - 2:36
    + Kurt Cobain's House - 3:36
    + Capitol Hill - 4:26

I used to live in Seattle for a few years. It's similar to San Francisco in alot of ways but not quite that "world class city" type. It's a beautiful place but the weather really is very gloomy and cold for most of the year. Summers are usually sunny and dry but it doesn't get that hot. As for the people, it's got that same pretentiousness San Francisco has but with more of a sociopath culture. Many seattle locals are wolves in sheeps clothing so you have to be careful who you trust.

    DONT LISTEN TO THIS DOUCHE.
Local here. Aberdeen is a really rough run down town. Highest unemployment rate in the state. Don’t go there.
The needle was undergoing a 100 million renovation when this asshat visited. It’s pretty awesome now. With an almost all glass observation deck.
Cap hill although relatively safe is way sketchier than belltown. Belltown has some of the best food in the city and is very quiet and clean in the day, a bit noisy and busy at night as it has a few clubs, but nothing crazy like cap hill has. A good example of a great place to eat is Local 360. The premise is all ingredients Down to the alcohol and condiments are sourced locally within a 360 mile radius. It’s amazing.
The beer, the food, the coffee is amazing but steer clear of the market or you will not experience much of that.
    Use yelp.
Seattle has some very awesome unique bars. This guy went to a dive bar, cool but nothing special.
Secret: it doesn’t rain here that much anymore. May-October weather is great. Two weeks ago in April we already hit a 76 degree day.
Jump on the ferry’s! It’s awesome!
Seattle is amazing! Don’t let others tell you otherwise. I have lived all over the US and been to a lot of places around the world. I’m still in love with this city.

    • Appable
      Appable 10 months ago +1

The market is great! Ulis for sausage, Market Grill for salmon, and Delaurenti for amazing espresso. And good produce and other offerings if you live locally or are staying for a while. There's the fish throwing tourist traps and souvenir shops, but that can be avoided by going sufficiently early

  • Mr Self destruct
Mr Self destruct 11 months ago

This guy! Bell town is sketchy?! Belltown is a lot safer than cap hill! Belltown is very safe! “ my bumble and tinder profile” ?? Could you be any more of a douche? Nothing in your video highlighted anything special about this great city. Next time you are in Seattle be fair! Actually visit the places locals go! Come on bro!

Did you edit out all the homeless on every street?

    • Appable
      Appable 10 months ago

@BRUH You do? Did you ever go outside the worst blocks of downtown? I can think of a lot of parks that are perfectly clean and safe, and virtually every neighborhood past SODO/Capitol Hill/Downtown has no significant homeless issues (maybe along the giant streets like Northgate and Aurora, but not in neighborhoods).

    • Appable
      Appable 10 months ago

"Pikes Place"? Anyway, there are many great places in *Pike* Place, including Uli's, Market Grill, and Delaurenti. Also Beecher's is probably more on the touristy side but it's good and I know the owner, so I'm biased.

Seattle is the shittiest shit pile place anyone could ever visit. Homeless galore, outrageous prices. You pay for your grocery bags even if they are paper. Throwing away an egg shell is a sin. Overcrowded full of unfriendly poor entitled people. The road map looks like it was drawn by a 4 year old.. and that’s not an over-exaggeration🤮.
One time I said something there about the rain and someone told me “That’s Washington weather for you!” ...no. Not even close. 85% of us true Washingtonians don’t agree.

I agree. I lived in Seattle. It's an overrated place trying to pass itself off as some world class city. The people there are all sociopaths. The fake-nice passive-aggressive back-stabbing culture is strong there.
