It isn't just about frame rates... It's about how quiet the card remains while shelling out those comparable frames. It's about how hot the card becomes. It's a bigger picture than you're making it out to be. Next time, listen to the _entire_ video or don't bother commenting.

Don’t buy this model. Gigabyte 5700 XT gaming OC has serious coil whining issue. I RMA mine immediately. Screw gigabyte for using cheap components on this one. Seriously, was it worth it for saving a few pennies? Get your shit together. It caused so much trouble for me and still cannot use my pc cuz im waiting for my refund to buy another 5700 XT from a decent company (MSI or Asus). You youtubers shit over MSI for some neglecting some thermal pad yet for you coil whining is fine

Just a bold statement here from me. I can trade blows with 2080 with UV and a bit OC(very small numbers) 5700xt. And it is still in reasonable noise levels.

@Armani Rocha Well the card sure is a monster but it doesn't work currently. Crashes, overheats, blue screen, amd just couldn't fix their drivers in 4 months and I had to bring back mine and got a 2060s instead and now everything runs perfectly. If you Google rx5700 xt issues you will find a list on Reddit about what to do to lower the risk of crashes and stuff and basically you have to live in restrictions (for example you can't run any program that inspects your rigs temeprature like msi afterburner because your computer will die) so there's that.

I was gonna spend $550 on a rtx 2070 super brand new. But I ended up buying a used reference RX 5700xt for $300. The card runs 70 C under heavy load with 40% fan use and hasn't thermal throttled yet. I'm going to use those $250 that I saved and upgrade my CPU. So far no issues with my 5700 xt. Although I would rather own a triple fan version.

    • jvalex18
      jvalex18 5 months ago +1

The best High end equipment? I can make a list but it would cost you about 15k (if not more) or even more if you want the best monitor and best pc speakers.
Also don't use 2 GPU, it's not worth it. The performance bump is really small and many games do not support it in a efficient way.
