I tried this recipe with ripe red jalapeños and apple cider vinegar it came out great! The puree didn't want to sieve through the mesh strainer so I bottled it straight up. Thanks for making this video!

are those just jalapenos? obviously not the habenero, but the "ripened chili peppers". because they look like jalapenos.

Need to let the all the ingredients sit for a few days before blending them to a sauce, not in fridge just covered and at room temp , thickness can be adjusted as well as heat before bottling

Crypt of Duncan at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills
On July 13, 2012, Duncan was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center after suffering a heart attack.[21] Media reports suggested that his girlfriend, Omarosa Manigault Newman, had tried to save his life by performing CPR.[22] Duncan's publicist, Joy Fehily, issued a statement on August 6 that read he was moved from the intensive-care unit but remained hospitalized following his heart attack.[23] On September 3, Duncan died in Los Angeles.[24] In spite of a family request, no official autopsy was performed.[25] Forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter believes that Duncan likely had cardiac sarcoidosis, and that the condition was the probable trigger for the actor's fatal heart attack.[25] (It has been established that Duncan had general sarcoidosis, which he likely contracted while working for a gas company in his early twenties.[25])
Seven months after his death and according to his family,[26] Omarosa was under suspicion for changing his will and testament.[27] They also claim that Omarosa manipulated Duncan in his final days, lied about her engagement and sold his belongings without the family's knowledge.

Hi, nice video, want to ask if I don't bottle this and just let it remain in an open bowl and refrigerate it and consume it within 3-4 days, will the flavors be as strong?
Also, can I use dried red chili peppers instead of fresh and will there be a loss of taste and flavor? Thanks

    • Fahad Majid
      Fahad Majid 9 months ago

Thanks for your reply. I did try making it with dried chili peppers. The spiciness was just too strong for me, my mouth started burning just by one drop of sauce.

    • Sauce Stache
      Sauce Stache  9 months ago

It'll last for 3-4 days covered in the fridge for sure... the dried chili peppers will change the taste and texture for sure but I'm sure itll be good

@Sauce Stache I've made two batches so far... first one was a Hungarian chilli pepper sauce with some ghost peppers and a few habaneros for extra heat, added a little pineapple juice. So good with a little sweetness. Next was a jalapeno lime sauce, also added a couple ghost peppers and juice and a little roasted garlic as well. The opportunities are endless. Thanks for the video, you really got me inspired to keep making different blends.

I made hot sauce for the first time this year. I had way to many red ripe jalapeno peppers in my garden to let them go to waste. First I fermented them with garlic cloves and mangoes like you would do when making sauerkraut for 2 weeks. The fermenting gave the pepper mix some natural vinegar and other flavours. Then, using info from the many hot sauce recipes that are on the net, I added spices, herbs, honey, vinegar, sugar etc. After blending and straining, I hot packed the sauce in hot sauce jars I bought off the net. I ended up with 24 bottles and a mason jar full because I didn't have enough hot sauce jars. I started giving the stuff away. Everyone loves it. Dumb luck I'm sure but it was a lot of fun. I'm watching this video because making hot sauce was so much fun I can't get enough of seeing how other folks do it. Thumbs up here!
