    I work a rotating shift pattern. 12 hours of rotating days and nights every few days, a brutal schedule, sleeping on my mums sofa at the time so I was severely lacking quality sleep. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 25 after 4 months of starting that job. I think shift work is responsible and will probably end up costing me years of my life.
    If you ever consider taking a shift work job I urge you to weigh up the extra income you might get against the toll on your health really carefully, for me it has never been worth it.

    I finished my Degree in Biotechnology using this method; sleep before studying and sleep after studying. It is truly effective. I never cross-night or use energy drinks. Once I am tired, I sleep, or during study breaks I play a game or watch a series. A brain can be treated as a pet and can be submissive if trained.

    It’s a relief to see a video with value to humanity.. let’s put the diabolical drug companies out business.. better yet.. let’s hold those associated with the drug pushers ( psychiatrists) accountable for their misdeeds.. for the crimes committed against our children.. my daughter is on those victims.. she’s now jailed just to make sure she continue to consume a deadly medication that tried to refuse but was forced upon her by means of intimidation by a drug court program.. star drug court program in Houston Texas.. Risperdal.. is one of the drugs they said it would cure her.. it’s sad the a court would be involved with these doctors with only one purpose.., to make billions for a drug company.. I have no money to fight them, my daughter was punished in the program for not being able to perform while heavily intoxicated with drugs .. she was denied of seeing a real doctor.. a dentist.. her teeth totally decayed as a result of being put on a state of mental vegetation.. i tried to contact the doctors but they were unable to answer any questions.. the program hides their identity... why .. isn’t that a huge red flag.. ? Today is my poor innocent child.. but don’t forget that it can be you next.. it doesn’t take much.. one visit to one of these barbarians and you could end up in room held against your will.. it would be done under the guise of mental health care.. and a corrupt or misinformed judge will back the doctor.. after all they make huge political contributions to government officials

    The "soap box" of this talk should have been the focus. Late capitalism is the problem. We dont need to trick our bodies woth devices and techniques. You're right, sleep should be a societal right. Labor hours should reflect this.

    Everybody is so contradictory...because sadhguru says sleep like death is inertia....and the more u sleep its like inviting death onto your you say sleep is a super power🤔🤨 id rather believe sadhguru the foods we eat makes the process the body has to go through to digest food alot harder and this makes you sleep longer than sleep is for the rich.....

    Going to be honest. Sleep is the biggest waste of time. I started getting so much more work done when I woke up at 5:30 and I would just grind out the day being productive in everything I do. I understand sleep is important for body repair but ever since I had a passion to follow getting up early and maximizing the hours worked in a day has honestly changed my life.
