My opinion is that maybe not all of the animatronics in FNaF SB will be helping us. Just like what you said, Chica and Freddy are the only ones that's part of the crew/ they're also the toy animatronics from FNaF 2 since Bonnie was replaced by Monty and Roxanne is new. I've seen many theories of these Sun and Moon type of animatronics and the four of them are separated. Freddy and Chica on the Sun, Monty and Roxanne at tge moon. It can be possible that Freddy and Chica are the only ones that will be on our side since they're the only animatronics, out of the four of them, that became a toy animatronic.

So FNAF is creepy pinocchio. Got it.

Ok I know I’m like 10,000 years late to this theory but the way the books and games collide is just...cool?
Some spoilers to fnaf book 3
I just finished the 2nd chapter the 3rd book and even if I haven’t been in the fnaf community in a while, I still knew the weird doll like ballerinas where INFACT minirinas.
My small theory was later confirmed when the main character’s first dream was with a fox with glowing yellow eyes, his 2nd dream was a bear in the corner and then his face panel opens( surprising enough it never mentioned bonbon), then his last dream included a ballerina with makeup and a bun on her head. Of course there are other things that over lap from the game like the continuous mentions of a bunny, but I’m only on book 3.. but man it it just me or did anyone not expecting the ending in chapter 2 first book-

Oddly enough the goo reminds me of the soul energy that first shoed up a while ago. On top of that, it seems like the culmination of several experiments coming together, and might be harder to kill than previous versions of his experiments. Like a vampire version of the discs that make thing look more real, with innards filling like functions, and the virus like tendency to grow. Like stem cell research being taken to the extreme and made into a virus to consume and adapt.

Baby sounds a lot like vanny. Maybe this is because afton isn’t controlling vanny. Maybe since baby had control over afton when he infected vanny she was the one controlling vanny. When baby was the main character(sister location) she also had the reluctant follower mask on. Now yes it was a fake facade but it would explain a lot about the way vanny is acting. One of the security breach trailers has vanny trying to convince Gregory that she isn’t hostile and that is was a glitch. She could have dropped the I wanna help you facade because she felt like she lured Gregory close enough to her to go for the kill but it didn’t go as planned. That trailer makes me think vanny is using the same tactic baby did in sister location. On top of that let’s say you get the sister location ending where ennard follows you home. Baby wanted to use your skin to escape but didn’t get to so she could be using vanny to solve a vendetta against you. If you think about it William would have no reason to use vanny for more evil. William died to to the ghost children scaring him into the spring trap suit. It was no ones fault but his. He has no reason to continue his wrath especially on the form of a virus. That guy is old as dirt if anything he’s probably tired of killing kids 😂Then again this is just a theory 💁‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

This might not be the best most constructed theory, but it’s something that I’ve thought about. Back during the fnaf 4 days when Scott gave us that hint asking why in the mini game would she be missing her beak? What if the reason the beak was missing was to tie that character, the girl with the toys, to fnaf 2. Fnaf 4 was supposed to tie up all the loose ends, and what if this was somehow a tie to fnaf 2, or rather meant to tie that girl to fnaf 2. I haven’t looked too much into how this could be plausible I’m just a random dude throwing out an idea.
