been cooking this up for year. Everyone who's had it cooked from me has always given me rave reviews! My neighbours kids even said my BBQ is better than his dad's and demanded that I don't tell his dad. LOL!

Awesome ๐Ÿ‘ I like to use sesame seed oil too. On just about everything I Barbecue. I like pork ribs I take the oil and rub it all over the meat ๐Ÿฅฉ then session it caisson spices then set in ice box over night the next day I halfway cook it on a grill get it nice and brown then I take sweet baby rays BBQ saws 1 third cup of water 1 third cup of BBQ saws mix it together pore it on the meat in a Dutch Oven put the Dutch in the oven at 425 and base for 1 and a half hours. I guaranty it the Best BBQ you ever tasted.

I thought the pear would tenderize the meat on its own but it didn't, I think it's used more for flavor than anything. I would opt for other ways to tenderize meat than just using pears.
